Misono was established in 1935 and have kept family own business until now. Misono is one of the oldest Western style knife maker in Japan, and fifty workers produce 150,000 knives a year.
Misono knives are manufactured 100 % in house with extreme attention to detail to maintain high quality. Misono’s knives are made by hand and their production process is very similar to that of traditional Japanese style knives.
