The Takohiki is a variation of Japanese Yanagiba knife. It was originally comes from the Tokyo region, whereas Yanagiba is developed in Osaka regioin a long time ago. The Straight tip section features cutting the curled tentacles of octopus. It is also useful for picking and transferring sliced fish the cutting board to the serving plate.
